Columbus Diocese Logo
The inner circle of the diocesan logo represents an "O"
for Ohio, and the slightly larger "C" outside of the
"O" is for Columbus. The ship is the Santa Maria of
the fleet of Christopher Columbus, and it sails upon waves
representing the waters of Baptism. The "M" on the
sail and the star above it point to Mary, Star of the Sea,
who directs us to the safety of her Son, Jesus.
