  • Foundation Dinners
    Parishioners help prepare and serve dinners at the local shelter several times per year.

  • Hospice
    Provides end-of-life care, grief support services and personal care services.   Services are designed to meet the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

  • Jillian's Dinner
    In honor of Jillian Davidson, this annual dinner is organized to help individuals or families who have experienced or are experiencing a catastrophic event in their lives.   The dinner is prepared and served by volunteers from the Church and community.

  • Lighthouse (Domestic Violence Task Force)
    This committee was founded in 1988 by a coalition of programs in Ohio which serve battered women and their children.   It works to raise awareness of domestic violence.   The committee and volunteers are also helping to renovate the Lighthouse, the domestic violence shelter in Lancaster.

  • Pregnancy Decision Health Center (PDHC)
    Seeks to provide caring services for responsible sexual values and alternatives to abortion to as many individuals as possible in the Central Ohio area.

  • Prison Outreach
    Our Prison Ministry consists of the giving of your time and talents in an effort to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are locked away from society.   It matters not why they are there but who they are…children of God…and therefore deserve to hear what the Word of God says.   Anyone wishing to join us in visiting these men will be fingerprinted and required to have a background check done prior to being admitted to the correctional
    facility.

  • Relay for Life
    The signature event of the American Cancer Society is a team relay event that promotes survivorship and increases cancer awareness in our community.   This event is held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds.

  • Respect for Life
    The Respect for Life Program was initiated by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops to assist Catholics in understanding and embracing the Church's vision of human life and dignity, both in our individual lives and families and as a Catholic community.

  • Right to Life
    Helps to restore legal protection to innocent human life.   The primary interest is the abortion controversy; however, it is also concerned with related matters of medical ethics which relate to the right to life issues of euthanasia and infanticide.

    Lends assistance and provide support to our "Sister Parish."

  • St. Vincent de Paul (Fairfield County)

    St. Vincent helps Fairfield County residents with rent, utilities, prescriptions and clothing.   Furniture is available.   St. Vincent also has a food pantry that works through Information and Referral Service and requires proof of income and expenses.   St. Bernadette helps supply the food pantry in accepting donations of non-perishable food items in the box located in the foyer of the church.   St. Vincent DePaul members collect donations after mass on the 5th Sunday of the month to help with their many charitable causes.

  • Vinton County Outreach
    Helps provide food, clothing, toiletries, and household goods to low income families through the St. Francis Center in McArthur, Ohio.   A major collection of new toys and new clothing takes place at Christmas time for the St. Francis Center's "Santa Workshop".   We deliver the items 2 weeks before Christmas.
